Music that springs from nature...
Speaking about this Festival is to remember two estates with centuries of history – Casa Cadaval and Quinta do Casal Branco – which have undertaken an experience of dialogue between music, art and oenology, with events that offer everyone the possibility of combining musical pleasure with the viticultural experience, framed by the elegance and beauty of the surrounding spaces. 'Entre Quintas' will present concerts and recitals between June 26th and July 5th, in different spaces of these properties, taking advantage of natural settings that unite these facets of the Portuguese art of hospitality, enhanced by music. Two weekends spent in harmony, between art and nature, which make Quinta do Casal Branco and Casa Cadaval places of tourist and cultural attraction.
Located about 50 minutes from Lisbon, the two estates offer unforgettable programs with music of different genres, catering to different age groups and tastes. This experience of dialogue between music and winemaking art also aims to honor the emblematic figures of Olga Cadaval and Maria Lívia Braamcamp Sobral, ladies of great culture and artistic sensibility who brought renown to the properties they managed, Casa Cadaval and Quinta do Casal Branco, respectively.
The 'Festival Entre Quintas' was held in partnership with the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra (OCCO) and its artistic director, the Bulgarian conductor Nikolay Lalov.

Music, Friendship and Nature
The relationship between man and nature is very, very old, and this is one of the themes we most consistently find in works of art throughout history.
Nature and its beauties have inspired countless poets, musicians, and painters who have bequeathed to us great verses, melodies, and paintings brimming with verve.
Therefore, we have prepared a selection of events so that you can appreciate the beauty of the locations, the music, and what nature has to offer, in an unforgettable experience.
